Who is responsible
This website is run by Christian Valverde (Valverde Motorsport), Towcester, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom. Christian is the controller of any personal information collected through it. Contact: [email protected].
What is collected
Enquiries. If you use the contact form on the Partners page, the website collects the name, email address and message you type, and your company name if you choose to add it. Nothing else is asked for.
Emails. If you email [email protected] directly, the message and your email address are received in that mailbox (a Gmail account).
Technical data. Like any website, the host (Netlify) processes connection data such as IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and keep the service secure.
What is not collected
The site does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and does not store anything on your device. It does not ask you to create an account and takes no payments. Fonts, images and videos are served from this website itself.
Why, and the lawful basis
Enquiry details are used only to read and reply to your message, and to follow up on a partnership discussion if you ask for one. The lawful basis is legitimate interests (responding to people who contact Christian) and, where you ask for a response ahead of an agreement, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. Your details are not used for marketing and are not sold.
Who receives it
- Netlify, Inc. hosts the site and processes contact form submissions on its servers, which may be outside the UK. Submissions are stored in the site's Netlify account until deleted.
- Google (Gmail) handles email, including any form notification sent to the mailbox above.
Links to Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn leave this website; those services operate under their own privacy policies.
How long it is kept
Enquiries are kept for as long as is needed to respond and to deal with any follow-up from the conversation, and are then deleted. You can ask for yours to be deleted at any time.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information held about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and ask for a copy you can move elsewhere. Email the address above and it will be dealt with. If you are unhappy with the response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If the site adds analytics or any other tool that collects information, this policy will be updated first and a choice offered where the law requires one.
